This month I was delighted to be selected for the 2nd time to be a part of the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator Program.
The first 6 months went by so fast, that I really wanted to have another chance to take stock of the information from the workshops and utilise all the fantastic business and personal development tools they gave us.
The NatWest Accelerator supports and empowers UK entrepreneurs to scale their businesses to the next level. The program is FREE to participate in, but you do have to commit to being in, and on, your business full-time.
There are a lot of very good things about this program, but a highlight is certainly the sense of community. Being in a room of people who have a sense of adventure and drive, like you, inspires you to keep going and be the best you can be. Being self-employed is not new to me, I started out when I was 21, but the world of business right now, and particularly the menopause one, is very different from anything I have experienced before, and I just needed to join with like-minded people to support my intentions and keep me focussed on my vision of creating a global collective of Menoapuse Doulas.
I am looking forward to all the different workshops and community events, and this time round will be aiming to utilise the business mentors much more.
We have certainly seen an impact in the growth of The Menopause School and had so much advice and really kind support from all sides of the Natwest community, from the cohort, to our amazing coaches Chelsea and Chloe and then the wider team and networking events with Bobby, Pam and Harinder.
If you are a business owner, looking to scale your business or even developing your business from the ground up, I would highly recommend applying to be a part of the program. They run twice a year for 6 months at a time. You can find out more about your local hub here.
